Taiwan Part 4

When we left the hotel in the morning, these two hotel employees with big gloves stood and waved goodbye to us.

The first stop for the day was at Xiaoyeliu. It is known for its unique sandstone formations.

The coast was beautiful. Doesn’t that make you want to go put your feet in the water?

Our next stop was Sanxiantai. There is a long walking bridge that looks like a sea dragon.

In their parking lot they had Porsches. Well at least they had Porsches when we were there. We really like Porsches, so we were very excited to see the Taiwan Porsche Club

Next stop was for lunch. We had the best beef noodle soup and dumplings.

Oh look what went zipping past our bus!

Our last stop was the gorgeous Taroko Gorge.

We went on a walk, but first we had to put on hard hats.

We walked through the tunnel on the left.

The Hotel Silks Place Taroko was very nice and it was conveniently located in Taroko Gorge.

The next morning we toured the gorge some more.

Taroko Gorge is simply beautiful!

On our way back to Taipei we stopped at the 7-11 castle for lunch.

We actually found something really good there for lunch.

It was rice and some meat steamed in banana leaves.

As we were finishing up our tour, and heading back to Taipei, everyone was telling Daniel which hotel they were staying at for the night. We were flying home and needed to get to the airport. We asked if we could be dropped off at the Taipei Main. From there we took the MRT to the airport. We found the airport lounge and waited for our flight back home. We both really had a great time on our trip to Taiwan. We hope to someday return to Taiwan.
